African Grey
Mississauga, ON
Meet Lucy, a stunning 16-year-old African Grey looking for her next chapter. Hatched in British Columbia and raised in Toronto, Lucy has been a cherished member of her family since 2011, and is now seeking a new home as her long-time caretakers retire to travel and her owner relocates internationally for work. Lucy is a sweet, spirited girl who absolutely loves to sing — it's her favourite pastime — talks a little, and happily keeps herself busy joyfully destroying her toys. She is friendly and deeply bonded to her primary caretakers, though she can be cage-territorial and hasn't been handled extensively, so she's looking for a calm, bird-savvy home with the patience to keep working with her on gentle handling and trust-building. Lucy is in excellent health with a recent, flawless vet check-up, has never exhibited any feather-plucking, is DNA-sexed female, microchipped, and has her wings kept clipped. Because she needs someone to continue working on handling, an adopter with previous large-parrot or African Grey experience is highly preferred. An adoption application is required to ensure the perfect match, and a rehoming fee applies to make sure she goes to a committed, secure home. If you have the time, patience, and love to offer this beautiful girl, please reach out to request an application.

Pepper is her playful, energetic, and curious counterpart, always looking for his next adventure and bringing joy to the home. They are extremely attached, spend nearly all their time together, and rely on each other for comfort. They must be adopted as a pair. The ideal home would be with adopters who can provide plenty of attention, patience, and daily interaction. They spend their days together, provide comfort and companionship to one another, and rely on each other emotionally. Because of this strong bond, they must be rehomed together. LULU Sex: Believed to be female (not yet confirmed) Age: Very young Lulu is a sweet, gentle, and calm budgie who enjoys a quieter pace of life. She loves affection and spending time close to her people. Lulu especially enjoys slow mornings and being spoken to softly while she starts her day. She is affectionate, easygoing, and thrives in a loving environment where she feels safe and included. Although she can be reserved when experiencing something new, she quickly warms up and enjoys being part of daily life. PEPPER Sex: Male Age: Very young (slightly older than Lulu) Pepper is playful, energetic, curious, and always looking for his next adventure. He loves toys, exploring, and interacting with both people and Lulu. His playful personality brings a lot of joy and entertainment to the home. Pepper is affectionate, social, and enjoys being involved in whatever is happening around him. THEIR BOND Lulu and Pepper are extremely attached to one another. They spend nearly all of their time together and become distressed when separated. For this reason, they will only be rehomed as a pair. We are looking for a family that will welcome both birds and continue supporting their close relationship. SUPPLIES INCLUDED Their current cage; an additional cage (Pepper's original cage); bird food; treats; perches; food and water dishes; travel carrier; large battery-operated bird bath suitable for two birds; cage-cleaning tools; various accessories and enrichment items. IDEAL HOME Adopters who will provide Lulu and Pepper with plenty of attention, patience, and daily interaction. BIRD EXPERIENCE Previous bird experience is preferred. However, we are also open to adopters who are willing to learn, research proper bird care, and go above and beyond to meet their needs. CHILDREN Children can be wonderful companions for Lulu and Pepper and will likely enjoy their playful personalities. However, children must be gentle, respectful, and supervised when interacting with the birds. OTHER PETS Cats and dogs can pose a serious danger to birds if not properly trained, supervised, and managed. Homes with other pets may be considered, provided the adopter can ensure Lulu and Pepper's safety at all times. DIET Quality budgie food, bird-safe treats, broccoli, bell peppers, boiled eggs, and various bird-safe vegetables. FOODS THAT MUST NEVER BE GIVEN Avocado, onions, garlic, and human food or table scraps unless confirmed bird-safe. ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY Avoid aerosol sprays, strong chemical cleaners, perfumes, scented candles, incense, smoke, or other airborne irritants. CLEANING ROUTINE Full cage cleaning, washing food and water dishes, cleaning perches, toys, accessories, and removing droppings from cage surfaces weekly. SLEEP SCHEDULE Covered around 8:00 PM and uncovered around 8:00 AM (approximately 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep). A FINAL NOTE Our priority is finding a safe, loving, and permanent home where Lulu and Pepper can continue to thrive together. We hope to find a family who will cherish them, respect their bond, and provide them with the love, attention, and care they deserve for many years to come.

Conure
Toronto, ON
A sweet 5-year-old green cheek conure is looking for a new, experienced forever home. She was told to be female (though not DNA tested) and is fully adapted to life with one blind eye from a babyhood injuryshe navigates and functions completely normally. This little lady is very bonded to her current primary caregiver but can be moody and has a tendency to bite others, including her caregiver's husband. She has had limited exposure to people outside her immediate household, so she can be territorial around her cage and may bite if she feels uncomfortable or threatened. She would thrive best with an experienced conure or parrot owner who understands bird body language, has patience for building trust, and can provide a calm, consistent environment. A single-person household or someone prepared to work slowly on socialization would be ideal. She will come with her current cage (fully equipped) and some food/supplies to help with the transition.
