Cockatoo
Toronto, ON
Meet Maui, a handsome cockatoo looking for his forever home! This distinguished gentleman is deeply bonded to his current family, especially his mom. Maui loves music, dancing, and snacking on fresh fruit. He enjoys being misted and loves spending time outside his cage. He can be moody or territorial, so he needs a patient and understanding owner with previous parrot experience. Maui is looking for a calm, patient, and committed home that understands the unique needs of cockatoos and can give him the love, structure, and attention he truly deserves. He will come with his cage, toys, and bird seed.

Conure
Toronto, ON
A sweet 5-year-old green cheek conure is looking for a new, experienced forever home. She was told to be female (though not DNA tested) and is fully adapted to life with one blind eye from a babyhood injuryshe navigates and functions completely normally. This little lady is very bonded to her current primary caregiver but can be moody and has a tendency to bite others, including her caregiver's husband. She has had limited exposure to people outside her immediate household, so she can be territorial around her cage and may bite if she feels uncomfortable or threatened. She would thrive best with an experienced conure or parrot owner who understands bird body language, has patience for building trust, and can provide a calm, consistent environment. A single-person household or someone prepared to work slowly on socialization would be ideal. She will come with her current cage (fully equipped) and some food/supplies to help with the transition.

Macaw
She is a 1yr old hans macaw and has not been sexed, however we refer to her as a she. She loves baths, she has an extensive word vocabulary. She is always curious. She is very in love with my husband's beard. We put her to bed in the evenings and once the sheet is over the cage she is quiet through to morning. She will not volunteer any noise until daylight next morning and sheet if off. We have had friends over for dinner, socialized her for a bit while they were here, then put her in her cage and covered for the remainder of the gathering, she stayed silent. She will sqwak with excitment when she hears the front door when we get home and also if we have not been paying any attention to her and we are in another area of the home. For the most part she offers little garbles and the odd little phrases and mumbles. Her increase in volume is always associated to her wanting attention. Otherwise she very quiet or entertaining with little noises. As far as destruction, she does not get into anything, nor chew anything. She is too people oriented and is her sole focus. We leave her out of her cage every day and when we get home she is always still on her cage. Is her safe space and she is very content there. It has lots of toys and a foraging box. When she does glide down is usually because she is tired of being ignored and is coming to find one of us (she always finds me in the office and will climb my leg). We have never come home to her wandering around the house. She adores our 2 dogs and doesnt bother the cat (who we have discovered is allergic to the parrot and has been very sick)
