Black-Capped Conure
Toronto, ON
Meet Tooty, a beautiful and people-oriented Black-Capped Conure looking for her forever home! This charming girl enjoys spending time with her humans, whether it's sitting on shoulders or interacting with her family. Tooty has a small vocabulary, and loves to say "Hi Tooty" and "Treat-treat" when she’s excited. She enjoys bathing and her favorite morning treats include cut-up apple slices. While Tooty enjoys gentle head scratches, she doesn't like being handled roughly and may nip if startled. She is best suited to a home without young children with an experienced owner.
Generally good temperament, people-oriented, enjoys interacting with humans, doesn't like being alone. Will sometimes allow head scratches and back pets.
Daily out-of-cage time, companionship, and patience. Gentle interaction.
May nip if feeling uncomfortable or startled. Preference for gentle interactions.

Budgie
Barrie, ON
She's yellow with black speckles on her back and a green belly. She's very chirpy in the morning but more quiet at night. She may chirp a little when you hold her, but she's mostly quiet. She likes all kinds of seeds, but you'll have a hard time trying to give her any kind of fruit.

Conure
Toronto, ON
A sweet 5-year-old green cheek conure is looking for a new, experienced forever home. She was told to be female (though not DNA tested) and is fully adapted to life with one blind eye from a babyhood injuryshe navigates and functions completely normally. This little lady is very bonded to her current primary caregiver but can be moody and has a tendency to bite others, including her caregiver's husband. She has had limited exposure to people outside her immediate household, so she can be territorial around her cage and may bite if she feels uncomfortable or threatened. She would thrive best with an experienced conure or parrot owner who understands bird body language, has patience for building trust, and can provide a calm, consistent environment. A single-person household or someone prepared to work slowly on socialization would be ideal. She will come with her current cage (fully equipped) and some food/supplies to help with the transition.
