The Einstein of parrots — brilliant, sensitive, unforgettable.
African Greys are widely considered the most intelligent companion birds on earth, with documented vocabularies in the hundreds of words used in context. That brilliance comes with sensitivity: greys notice everything, stress easily with change, and need calm, engaged, routine-loving homes. Adopted adult greys can take weeks to open up — and then become the most remarkable companion most people will ever have.

Yes — they're the best talkers in the parrot world and often use words in context: asking for foods by name, announcing visitors, or mimicking your phone so accurately you'll check your pocket.
Greys bond deeply and grieve change. A rehomed grey may be quiet or standoffish for weeks while it studies its new household. Patience is always rewarded.
A quality pellet base, plenty of fresh vegetables, and calcium-rich foods — greys are prone to calcium deficiency. An avian vet familiar with greys is a real asset; we can point GTA adopters to several.
