About Sky
Meet Sky, a charming 9-to-11-month-old male budgie looking for a loving home! Sky is a calm, sweet, and social little guy with a wonderful personality. While he can be a bit shy with new human friends at first and takes a little time to warm up, he gets along wonderfully with other budgies and thrives in their company. Once he feels comfortable, his cheerful personality and sweet singing really shine through! To make his transition as smooth as possible, Sky comes with his cage, favorite toys, food containers, and food. To ensure Sky goes to a safe, supportive environment where he can flourish, an adoption application is required for all interested adopters.
Temperament
Sky is described as a very calm, sweet, and social bird. He can be shy with new people and takes a little time to warm up, but once he is comfortable, his cheerful personality is revealed. He mingles well and gets along wonderfully with other budgies, thriving in their company. He enjoys serenading his home with sweet singing and likes chewing on cuttlebones.
Care Requirements
Sky's diet consists of bird seed, supplemented with his favorite treats: spray millet, corn, carrots, and broccoli. He enjoys chewing on cuttlebones. He will be rehomed with his cage, favorite toys, food containers, and his remaining supply of bird seed. He is very social with other budgies and would do best in a home with other birds.
