Pocket clowns — playful, cuddly, and full of mischief.
Conures bring big-parrot personality to Mississauga households — green-cheeked conures are quiet enough for many apartments, while sun and jenday conures are best where a louder bird won't trouble close neighbours. Mississauga is one of our most active rehoming communities, so birds come from — and find homes in — Sauga constantly, with quick local meet-and-greets.
Whether there's a conure listed in Mississauga today or you join the waitlist for the next one, adopting through Bird Sitting Toronto works the same way everywhere: apply online, chat with our AI screening assistant, and the BST team reviews every application personally. Birds across the GTA are usually only a short drive from Mississauga, so the right conure doesn't have to be listed in your exact city to become yours.

Famously so — many conures love burrowing into sleeves, hoods, and blankets and being scratched. Green-cheeked conures in particular are known as some of the snuggliest small parrots.
Green-cheeked conures (including pineapple and cinnamon mutations) are usually apartment-friendly. Sun, jenday, and nanday conures are not — their calls carry for blocks.
